IATMSI-2022

The first edition of the IEEE International Conference on Interdisciplinary Approaches in Technology and Management for Social Innovation – IATMSI-2022 was successfully organized during December 21–23, 2022 at ABV-IIITM Gwalior. The theme of the conference was “Enabling the Change! Social Innovation for Sustainable Societies,” and the following tracks were included:

Track 1: Innovative Solutions for Healthcare

Track 2: Power, Control, Energy and Intelligent Transportation Technologies

Track 3: Artificial Intelligence (AI), IoT and Computer Vision Enabled Technologies

Track 4: Green Electronics, VLSI, Communication and Sensor-Based Technologies

Track 5: Managing Technology for Social Change

A total of 480 papers were received for the conference from China, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Nepal, Philippines, Portugal, South Africa, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and United States. The conference also included 8 keynote talks delivered by eminent speakers from academia and industry across the globe. After a rigorous multi-stage review process, 195 high-quality papers were selected for oral presentation across five parallel technical sessions. Three Best Paper Awards were presented in each track. Based on the feedback received from participants, the conference tracks, tutorials, technical sessions, and plenary talks were highly appreciated for their quality and relevance. The conference provided young researchers with valuable networking opportunities and interactions with distinguished experts from academia and industry, making it a highly enriching experience for all attendees.

IATMSI-2024

The 2nd IEEE International Conference on Interdisciplinary Approaches in Technology and Management for Social Innovation (IATMSI-2024) was successfully organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, ABV-IIITM Gwalior, India, in collaboration with the IEEE Madhya Pradesh Section. The conference served as a prestigious platform for disseminating cutting-edge advancements across a broad range of disciplines, including communication, IT-enabled management, industrial electronics, healthcare, energy systems, VLSI, smart transportation, biomedical sciences, agriculture, artificial intelligence, robotics, defense technologies, technology policies, and related domains.

As a growing international conference series, IATMSI-2024 brought together experts, researchers, academicians, and industry professionals from across the world to share research findings and discuss emerging technological trends. Hosted in the historic city of Gwalior, known for its rich cultural heritage, the conference continued with the theme “Enabling the Change! Social Innovation for Sustainable Societies.”

The conference was organized around the following tracks:

IATMSI-2025

The 3rd IEEE International Conference on Interdisciplinary Approaches in Technology and Management for Social Innovation (IATMSI-2025) was organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at ABV-IIITM Gwalior, India, in collaboration with the IEEE Madhya Pradesh Section. The conference served as a prestigious platform for disseminating cutting-edge advancements across multiple disciplines, including communication, IT-enabled management, industrial electronics, healthcare, energy systems, VLSI, smart transportation, biomedical sciences, agriculture, artificial intelligence applications, robotics, defense technologies, and technology policies.

Building upon the strong foundation established by the previous editions held in 2022 and 2024, IATMSI-2025 further strengthened its position as a premier international forum for researchers, scholars, academicians, and industry professionals. Maintaining rigorous academic standards, the conference upheld an acceptance rate below 25%, ensuring that only high-quality and impactful research contributions were presented.

With the theme “Enabling the Change! Social Innovation for Sustainable Societies,” the conference featured the following tracks:

In addition to technical paper presentations, IATMSI-2025 featured eight keynote talks delivered by eminent speakers from academia and industry, providing valuable insights into emerging technologies and future research directions. The conference was successfully hosted in the historic city of Gwalior, providing an inspiring environment for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and innovation.

IATMSI-2026

The 4th IEEE International Conference on Interdisciplinary Approaches in Technology and Management for Social Innovation (IATMSI-2026) was organized by the IEEE Madhya Pradesh Section in association with Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management Gwalior (ABV-IIITM Gwalior), India. The conference was held during 12–14 March 2026 in hybrid mode at the ABV-IIITM Gwalior campus, Madhya Pradesh, India.

Organized under the aegis of IEEE, IATMSI-2026 promoted high-quality interdisciplinary research integrating technology and management for societal transformation. The theme of the conference, “Enabling the Change! Social Innovation for Sustainable Societies,” highlighted its focus on sustainable development, innovation-driven solutions, and socially impactful research.

The conference was structured around five major tracks: Innovative Solutions for Healthcare; Power, Control, Energy and Intelligent Transportation Technologies; Artificial Intelligence (AI), IoT and Computer Vision Enabled Technologies; Green Electronics, VLSI, Communication and Sensor-Based Technologies; and IT-Enabled Management for Social Change. These tracks collectively addressed emerging technological advancements and their applications for social innovation.

IEEE IATMSI-2026 received an overwhelming global response with more than 4,700 paper submissions from researchers worldwide, reflecting its strong international reputation and interdisciplinary relevance. Upholding rigorous peer-review standards and technical excellence, the conference maintained an acceptance rate of less than 10%, ensuring that only high-quality, original, and impactful research contributions were included in the proceedings.

The technical program included keynote addresses by eminent international experts, invited talks, parallel technical sessions, workshops, tutorials, and panel discussions. In addition, the conference recognized excellence through prestigious awards such as the Hardnovate Contest, Rising Researcher Award, Excellence in Research Award, IEEE Doctoral Dissertation (Best Thesis) Award, Simulation Excellence Award, and Best Paper Awards, along with selected fellowships and travel grants.

Through its interdisciplinary vision and strong industry–academia collaboration, IATMSI-2026 provided a vibrant platform for researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and young innovators to exchange ideas and establish collaborations.
