Rising Researcher Award

The Rising Researcher Award recognizes outstanding early-career researchers who have demonstrated significant contributions through high-quality publications, innovations, and impactful academic work. The award aims to encourage excellence and support promising faculty researchers across disciplines.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be 40 years of age or below as of 1st March 2026.
  • The applicant must hold a Ph.D. degree in any discipline of:
    • Engineering
    • Science
    • Management
  • The Ph.D. may be obtained from any recognized institution (India or abroad).
  • The applicant must be working in India and belong to any one of the following categories:
    • Researchers/Scientists from research laboratories or any other recognized organization
    • Faculty Member (Regular / Contract / Ad-hoc) in Engineering, Science, or Management institutions
    • Senior Research Fellow (SRF)/RA
    • Post-Doctoral Fellow (PDF)
    • Industry Professional working in R&D, technology, or related domains

Submission Requirements

Applicants must submit the following documents/information:

  1. Latest Resume (CV)
    Including academic background, research experience, awards, and contributions.
  2. List of Research Publications
    Must include for each publication:
    • Title
    • Journal/Conference Name
    • DOI Number
    • Impact Factor (where applicable)
    • Indexing details (Scopus, SCI, ESCI, etc.)
  3. Scopus Author Profile Link
  4. Google Scholar Profile Link
  5. Summary of Key Research Contributions
    (Max: 1 page; highlighting innovations, research impact, patents, major achievements, etc.)
  6. After the payment of ₹3500/-, kindly submit your nomination through the submission form given below:

Registration Guidelines:

  • Resource Sharing and Logistics Support Charges: Rs. 3500/-.
  • Registration will be done online, and payment in Indian Rupees (₹) is only accepted.
  • Registration will commence from 15th October 2025, and will be closed on 20th February 2026 by 5 pm as per the Indian Standard Time.
  • For any registration category, no refunds will be made in any case.
  • Registration fees include a registration kit (one kit for one team), Refreshments (Morning and Evening), 1 working Lunch and one day stay.
  • An additional amount of Rs. 500 will be charged for an accompanying person for the food at the registration desk.

  • Research quality and novelty
  • Publication record and citation impact
  • Journal impact factors and indexing
  • Consistency of research contributions
  • Innovation, patents, or technology development
  • Demonstrated potential for future contributions

Important Dates

  • Last Date for Registration: 20th Feb 2026. Register on the link on or before 20th Feb. 2026.
  • The winner of the Rising Researcher Award will be announced on the last day of the conference i.e. 14th March 2026 during the valedictory ceremony.
